Turn It Back 03:43
I used to think that you were always right. I used to believe in the truth of your eyes. I used to think that you could never die. I used to sing the songs that you played for me. I used to stay all night up sitting on your seat. I used to wish that you could still be here. I've been missing desperately your last embrace. I've been waiting dangerously for your regret. I've been lately dying for a single chance. I'm afraid that I won't ever turn it back. I cannot set you free. You're still within my sleep. I cannot let you go. You're still under my skin. I've been missing desperately your last embrace. I've been waiting dangerously for your regret. I've been lately dying for a single chance. I'm afraid that I won't ever turn it back. I've been missing desperately your last embrace. I've been waiting dangerously for your regret. I've been lately dying for a single chance. I'm afraid that I won't ever turn it back. You're still within my sleep. You're still under my skin. You're still behind my eyelids. You're still under my sheets. I just can't get rid of it.

Nevermind 03:12
I don't mind the colour of your t-shirt baby. I don't care about the length or shape or size of you skirt, leave that shit behind. You should turn my world around. You should put it upside down. They say that love will make it worthwhile. Instead I think it's just matter of time. Who on earth would be willing to sacrifice his freedom for your cramps? When you cannot give me one thing, not even a smile. You should be stiring all my guts. You should be widening my mind. They say that love's gonna save our lives. Instead I think it's just a waste of time. We're no more than bags of bones and meat. We're no more than unfeeling biped beings. We're no more than electric impulsed beams. All we are is chemical recipes. They say that love's gonna save our lives, Instead I think they're only deranged minds. Deranged minds. Deranged minds. Deranged minds.

I've been trying to get high. I've been going out at times. I've been trying to be free in the abscence of your voice. I've looking for a place far away from your disgrace. I've been searching night and day how to put our bond an end. Oh no, but I can't. I cannot do it now. Oh no, but I can't. I cannot do it. I've been hiding from your friends. I've been hanging up the phone. I've been walking secret paths elsewhere so I can't be found. I've looking for a place far away from your head aches. I've been searching night and day how to put our bond an end. Oh no, but I can't. I cannot do it now. Oh no, but I can't. I just can't do it. I'm sick to hear you say that this is going to change, but after all it is always the same. Oh no, but I can't. I cannot do it now. Oh no, but I can't. Maybe tomorrow.

To get out first you must to get in. To get something valuable first you must give. To feel bond to your own destiny you should first decide what it will be. You feel trapped, anxious and breathless, like a live bait under water. To shout first you must learn to speak. To wake up first you must learn to sleep. You're afraid, you just feel nothing, wish you could stop all your crying. You feel lost, you feel in danger, no one near could give you shelter. You can try me, oh, you can try me, unless you leave me broken. You can use me, you can use me, unless you leave me broken. You can try me, oh, you can try me, unless you leave me shattered. Don't leave me shattered.
5.
Is there some thing you wanna say? Is there some thing inside your brain? Say it clear. Shout it loud. Don't ever doubt. Is there some thing you wanna be? Is there someone you'd love to be like? Go ahead. Change your ways and imitate. Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Is there somewhere you'd long to go? Is there somewhere you'd love to feel? Get it on. Don't let them tell you how it is or how it was. Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Are there someone kneeling for help? Is there some begging hand? Hurry up. Don't you waste and make a change. Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Why won't you just behave as you are supposed to? Why won't you behave as you're supposed to? Why won't you behave as you're supposed to? Why won't you behave as you're supposed to? Why won't you behave as you're supposed to?

about

The composition of this EP started a lot before Pedro J. L. and me couldn't even foresee the birth of 'The Resilients'. We never imagined (not even wanted) to make songs. We just enjoyed listening to music. It had been so deeply present in our lives that we didn't conceive our daily and inmediate world without it. Along with the passing of the years we felt an overwhelming rush pushing us into composing songs. We needed to say, in the shape of music notes and lyrics, what we had been feeling for so much time. It provided us an irreplaceable comforting relief. Pedro G. joined the band to add percussion to the early version of the songs, despite his premature classical music education as a pianist, which probably gave him his rythm and pace sense. Miguel J. was the last to arrive in the project. His whole life had been also surrounded by music, which gave him the habilty to add bass lines to the ultimate version of the songs as they definitely appear in this EP. As we usually say, beyond any other purpose, we just make songs to keep going.
